Advantage Benefit Solutions (“Advantage”) is one of Houston’s leading employee benefit advisory and brokerage firms.
When we meet with small and middle market companies, they tell us that they are frustrated with rising health insurance premiums, and that their employees are dissatisfied because of higher and higher deductibles, co-pays and out of pocket expenses, but the insurance industry doesn’t offer them any new choices. Even more interesting is that very few of these companies have a plan for changing this situation and wait for their advisor to deliver their renewal and hope that things improve. Unfortunately, the company’s situation never changes this way.
Advantage helps companies break away from the “Plan Trap”, or dealing with a last minute, reactive health insurance plan renewal, and no options other than cost shifting to their employees. We develop a 3-year to 5-year strategy that delivers a high-quality plan at a lower overall cost, because it is focused on quality and cost of healthcare. The plan is designed by going through our 4-step Blueprint process. The Blueprint is a document built to deliver the client’s specific, desired results.
There are two sides to every coin, price on one side and value on the other. Our process is the third side of the coin, the edge, or value creator, resulting in lower overall cost, with a higher value perception. We use communication technology and data analytics to maximize the value of a company’s benefits plan through employee engagement and education and optimize its overall health and wellness investment.
Our values are Collective Genius, Us Before Me, Raising the Bar, Staying Curious.
